Hazrat Shah Jalal Mazar


Shah Jalal is a saint of Bengal particularly in the region of Sylhet, Bangladesh. Jalal's name is associated with the Muslim conquest of Sylhet, for which he is given the most credit. He was buried at Sylhet.[1] Shahjalal International Airport, Bangladesh's main airport is named in honour of this saint.

Born Makhdum Jalal ad-Deen bin Muhammad, he was later known as Shaikh-ul-Mashaikh he was also known as Yamani(R) Hazrat Shah Jalal ad-Din al-Mujarrad.
Shah Jalal's date and place of birth is unclear. Various traditions, folklore and historical documents differ. A number of scholars claim that he was born in 1271 in Konya, Turkey, and later moved to Yemen, either as a child or adult, while vast majority of scholars believe he was born in Quni, Hadramout in Yemen.

Kaptai Lake:

The most beautiful kapti lake situated at Rangamati in Bangladesh. Kaptai lake is 74 kilometer from the Port City - Chittagong, the second largest city in Bangladesh. It as a man made lake in south-eastern Bangladesh. Covering an area of approximately 11,000 square kilometers, this lake is the largest lake in Bangladesh.  The Kaptai Lake is the main attraction of Rangamati. It has become a very popular spot to the tourists from home and abroad. Cruising on the Kaptai Lake is an enjoyable way of observing the beautiful hilly landscape of south-eastern Bangladesh. The Hanging Bridge across a portion of Kaptai lake adds to the beauty of the lake. This is 335 feet long bridge has become an icon of Rangamati. This is beautiful travel location where you get attractive tourist spots.

Chittagong is the second largest city in Bangladesh .You can visit Chittagong by road or train from Dhaka. It is the Commercial Capital City of Bangladesh. The surrounding mountains and rivers make the city attractive. Karnaphuli River falls in. The largest land port of the country, “Chittagong Port”, situated in Chittagong. That’s why Chittagong is the city for export and import. Most of the large industries of Bangladesh are situated in Chittagong. After experiencing what Chittagong is all about – you should take a bus ride to Cox’s bazar . You will surely like the atmosphere there – though except the rainy season almost all the year the beach remains crowded but you will nevertheless have a nice experience there. You can also take a trip to the nearest island called the Saint Martin’s Island – which has an even better-looking beach than Cox’s Bazaar’s. If you’re looking for a smaller and less crowdie beach then you can opt for the Inani Beach which is also pretty nice. Of course, the sea food that you will find at all these beaches are mouthwatering plus you can buy anything from the local Burmese Markets if you like.
